The hotel creates a fluid and dynamic face to the adjacent park and the city of Tianjin, through a series of weaving and intersecting planes. The buildings organic forms create recesses for small scale pocket gardens throughout the hotels façade, that create visual connections to the neighboring park as well as serve as amenities to hotel guests, the hotel features balconies and recessed windows reminiscent of American hotel design details creating an image that is both contemporary and iconic.
